PKP S.A. does not perform transport services. The following subsidiaries are the Group’s railway operators: PKP Intercity, SKM Trójmiasto and PKP Cargo

The railway transportation operators cooperate within the PKP Group with the companies providing telecommunication and IT services – TK Telekom and PKP Informatyka. Through this collaboration, among other accomplishments, a search engine was established for available railway services and dynamic information systems at the biggest railway stations in Poland.

PKP S.A. manages over 2,500 stations, of which about 600 handle passenger train traffic.

In recent years, the Company has initiated a wide-ranging programme of modernisation of railway stations. Its effects can already be seen throughout the country: a few dozen railway buildings have been completely modernised, including in Wrocław, Gdynia, Malbork, Kutno, Brzeg, Przemyśl ... Not only have they been adapted to the needs of today's travellers, but also their historical form has been restored.
